Heidelberg is a city in Baden-Württemberg, with one of the most famous castles in Germany, Heidelberg Schloss, overlooking the city. The castle is just partially restored since it was destroyed in the 17th century, but is related to many important events in the history of Europe.

I think it was more than 10 years ago when I visited Heidelberg the last time – which is really a shame as we live less than 50 kilometers away. (Time for a family trip next year!)
